Cheddar and Chive Biscuits

You know what chain seafood restaurant this is a riff on

500g Self Rising Flour- White Lily is simply the best, but any self rising flour will work.

1cup Sour Cream- makes the biscuits moist and fluffy

Like 1 ounce of chives- minced fine

1.5 Sticks of Butter, melted- add 1 stick to the dough, save the half a stick to brush on top before baking

Buttermilk or milk- to hydrate the dough

2 cloves garlic, finely minced- I love garlic, but its raw, and you really don't need more than this

1cup sharp cheddar cheese- for the namesake

1. Mix flour, sour cream, 1 stick of the melted butter, chives, and cheddar together

2. Hydrate with milk or buttermilk until the dough looks like pastry cottage cheese

3. Scoop onto a parchment lined baking sheet, and bake at 350F until GB&D, brush with butter halfway through to promote browning.

4. Enjoy
